The following discussion, tables, and figures provide information for use by NOAA as part of the 2015 status review for the Oregon Coast Coho Salmon ESU. The status of Oregon Coast coho salmon has improved, largely as a result of actions identified in the Oregon Coast Coho Conservation Plan (OCCCP; http://www.dfw.state.or.us/fish/CRP/docs/coastal_coho/final/Coho_Plan.pdf). Hatchery and harvest issues have been addressed, watershed-based organizations have been created to coordinate habitat needs, significant investments have been made in habitat restoration, and the Oregon Plan for Salmon and Watersheds has established a framework for coordination among land managers and owners. ODFW considers the Oregon Coast Coho ESU to be viable and believes there is a strong case to delist the ESU.
