NOAA is a founding member of the Coast Coho Partnership and has provided essential technical and financial support to the development and implementation of the SAPs since 2015. Grants from NOAA have supported the implementation of over 50 projects identified in the SAPs as well as ongoing development of the plans.  NOAA personnel have also participated in all of the SAP planning processes, led the spatial analyses (GIS) required for each plan, and provided permitting and other compliance support to local project implementers.
